Not A Clarinet Choir (NACC)Not A Clarinet Choir (NACC) is a mosaic: a Singapore-based collective of clarinetists & musicians from different backgrounds. We aim to explore the possibilities in clarinet music and push its boundaries with an open mind for collaboration and a keen ear for detail. We are led by our music director, Brian Lim. NACC participated in the Singapore International Band Festival 2022 and clinched the first prize with a Gold with Distinction award. The group has also participated in workshops with Nicolas Baldeyrou and Li Xin. Along the way, we have programmed performances such as three concerts in the “Musings” series; “Journals from Japan”; “Clarinets and Consoles”, and various public performances at Paragon Mall, Singapore Conference Hall, and Changi Airport. Most recently, we performed in six performances over three weekends for A Light Between Rains, a multidisciplinary festival parade with the Singapore International Festival of Arts 2026. Follow us on our Instagram and YouTube channel at @notaclarinetchoir to find out more about us and stay updated about our upcoming plans!
The Clarinet Club (TCC)
Founded in 2017, The Clarinet Club (TCC) is a Singapore-based community that brings together clarinet enthusiasts through a shared love of music. Open to players of all ages and backgrounds, TCC creates opportunities for learning, performing, and connecting through workshops, masterclasses, ensemble projects, social gatherings, and community initiatives. Beyond supporting clarinettists locally, TCC is passionate about building connections across borders and fostering cultural exchange through music. Over the years, members have participated in international festivals and learning experiences, including the International Thailand Clarinet Association Festival in 2022 and a self-organised clarinet learning trip to Chiang Mai in 2023. The club has also welcomed guest artists and educators from Singapore and abroad, providing members with opportunities to learn from diverse musical perspectives and build lasting friendships within the global clarinet community. At its heart, The Clarinet Club is about bringing people together through music, encouraging lifelong learning, and creating meaningful musical experiences that extend beyond the rehearsal room.
