​Niels Dittmann is an internationally renowned oboist celebrated for his exceptional artistry and dynamic performances. As Principal Oboist with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and a frequent guest with world-class ensembles like the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Niels has captivated audiences across the globe. A founding member of the award-winning Carion Woodwind Quintet, he has brought his innovative approach and technical brilliance to stages worldwide.

Trained by legendary oboists François Leleux and Bjørn Carl Nielsen, Niels has earned prestigious honors, including scholarships from the Leonie Sonnings Music Foundation.

Beyond the stage, he is a dedicated mentor, inspiring the next generation of oboists through masterclasses and coaching. Whether performing solo, chamber, or orchestral repertoire, Niels combines precision, passion, and artistry, making him one of the most sought-after oboists of his generation.
