HIROMICHI SAKAI
MIYAZAWA

Chief of Miyazawa repair technicians. He has 19 years of experience in the flute industry after graduating from university and has repaired more than 8,000 flutes. He has performed in repair clinics in more than ten countries and has earned the trust of many artists with a wide variety of genres.

SHINGO HOSODA
MURAMATSU

He has been working as a Muramatsu Flute repair technician for 15 years. For five years from 2019 to 2024, he had worked as a repair technician for Muramatsu Europe in Germany. Then he has earned the trust of so many great flutists. And his hobby is photography.

ERINA HIGUCHI
MURAMATSU

She graduated from Ishiyama High School with a major in flutes in the music department and studied wind instrument repair techniques for a year at the ESA vocational school of music. She enrolled in the Muramatsu Technician Course and trained in flute repair techniques for two years. She is currently working as a repair staff at the Shinjuku store of Muramatsu Inc. and attends many flute events not only in Japan but also all over the world. Her favourite beverages are beer and sake!

HIDETO FUKUMURA
SANKYO

Born in Kobe, he began playing the flute at the age of 11, after receiving it as a Christmas gift from Santa Claus. After studying law at Hokkaido University, he pursued his passion for music by learning woodwind instrument repair at the Chubu Technical Academy for Musical Instruments in Nagoya. He has specialized in flute repair at Sankyo Flutes for about 20 years. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of servicing the instruments of many renowned musicians, including Walter Auer of the Vienna Philharmonic, Herman van Kogelenberg of the Munich Philharmonic, and Julien Beaudiment of the Lyon National Opera Orchestra, among others.

REPAIR SERVICE RULES & REGULATION
  • The technicians are able to repair ALL BRANDS of flutes. If your flute belongs to one of the brands where the technician comes from, please select the corresponding technician.

  • ​Each customer is entitled to book only ONE repair slot, for either Flute or Piccolo.
 
  • This service is for LIGHT REPAIR only. Repair service EXCLUDES Dent Repair, C.O.A., Overhaul, Polishing Service, Major Pad Replacement, etc.
 
  • Organizer and Technicians reserve the right to reject any instrument should the repair be deemed to take too much time. No refund will be given.
 
  • The duration of each slot is 30 minutes. In case of repair exceeding time allocated and intrude into the next slot, Technicians reserve the right to make minor time adjustment, based on his/her professional judgement.
 
  • Instrument should be brought in at least 10 minutes before scheduled time.
 
  • Organizer is not responsible to remind individuals of their booked time slot and is not obligated to reschedule any missed/late slot. No refund will be given for the missed slot.
 
  • Repair charge is SGD $50 per flute (Prices inclusive of 9% GST). Please make your repair booking via this booking site reg.sgwoodwindfestival.org/
 
  • Booking is only confirmed upon full payment. Organizer reserve the right to reassign the slot to other paying customer should the initial booked slot remain unpaid.
 
  • Customers are responsible for collecting their own instrument from the event venue upon completion. Organizer is not held responsible for any loss or misplacement of instrument.
 
  • Customers are responsible for inspecting and test-play their own instrument before they leave the event venue.
