Sean has over 20 years in repair and retailing of woodwind and brasswind equipment, as well as many years of experience performing in wind bands and clarinet ensembles. As a clarinet player, He has initiated several Clarinet Ensemble events to promote the art of clarinet-playing in the Southeast Asia region.
Sean also led teams in organizing many International Festivals for woodwind instruments. As a design engineer and repairer of wind instruments, he understands the inner workings of wind instruments. Having worked with many professional musicians, he is able to recommend the optimum set up to my client and advise on any matters pertaining to repair and warranty. Sean has travelled extensively and done repair in almost all Southeast Asia countries, namely Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Besides Repair, he also conducts Instrument Maintenance and Instrument Repair Courses. Sean holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and a Diploma in Band Instrument Repair Technology from Renton Technical College (USA), as well as factory certificate from Buffet Crampon (France), V.Q. Powell Flutes (USA) and Muramatsu Flutes (Japan). He is also a Straubinger Pads certified Technician. |
